Fill with vegetable oil to suffocate small hive beetles. Traps adult beetles looking for spots to hide and their larvae which fall to the bottom of the hive. Their larvae need to pupate in the ground and instinctively drop to the bottom and fall in the trap. Works best with screened bottom boards. Clean and check traps every 7-14 days.
